This website provides the latest aerospace news and issues from around Wales, the UK, and the rest of the world, up-and-coming events in the aerospace industry and connections to Worldwide Aerospace-related resources.
The Aerospace Wales Forum website is packed full of custom features, making full use of the eazyCMS system. Site features include:
- Custom Template Design and Slideshow Banner. The website has a bespoke template based on the branding of the company, with graphics incorporated into the design to reinforce the Aerospace theme. This includes a slideshow banner on the home page, cycling through photographs from the aviation industry. View the slideshow banner here.
- Member Profiles. A directory of companies and their details, with the major advantage that each member can log in to their profile and edit their own information. See an example of a member profile here.
- Real-time Member Search. Allows the member directory to be searched, the search results are collected and displayed as-you-type. Try out the member search here.
- Interactive Members Map. A dynamic Google map displaying an aerial view of Wales, with Aerospace Wales member organisations displayed geographically using graphical markers. Clicking on a marker shows more information, including a link to the member's profile page. View the interactive members map here.
- News from Other Websites (RSS). The site administrators can use their admin system to browse various RSS news feeds from other Aerospace sits, choose the ones they want, and have them displayed on the Aerospace Wales Forum site. See the RSS news page here.
- Diary of Events. By default, displays a list of forthcoming events with the nearest first, but there are also options to show past events (from either the last 6 months, or all-time). View the events page here.
- Galleries. A series of galleries containing images grouped together into albums. The galleries can be browsed by thumbnail, clicking will display the large version of the image. Click here for the gallery page.
- Site News. All the latest news, listed newest first. The most recent five articles are on constant display in the right-hand column of the template. See the news page here.
Remember that everything here, from the news articles right down to the images that are displayed in the home page slideshow banner, can be edited by the client via the eazyCMS content management system, directly from their browser.
